- What is the ESB International Selection Process?

The selection process is designed to ensure we get the absolutely correct match between the candidate and ESBI. Getting it right at this stage is fundamental to the company's and candidate's future success.
- Step 1: Submit your CV/Resume by applying to a specific vacancy - following all the advice and tips from CV / Resume Tips page!
- Step 2: Once you have submitted your application, you will receive confirmation from our recruitment team that they have received your application via e-mail.
- Step 3: Our team of recruiters will review your application & shortlist.
- Step 4: If successful you will be called for interview
- Step 5: Attend first interview - following all the advice and tips from Interview tips page!
- Step 6: Our Recruitment team will contact you with feedback. They will inform you whether or not ESBI intends to pursue your application. If ESBI are pursuing the application, the next stage of the process is to conduct pre-employment checks and a medical examination.
- Step 7: You must pass our pre-employment checks i.e. verified academic and employment history & pass medical examination.
- Step 8: ESBI will make an offer of employment.
- In what locations do you have vacancies?

- Will I receive feedback on my application?

Only candidates invited for an interview will hear from us. The time taken between when the role closes and when candidates are invited to interview varies depending on the role. It can take up to one month from the closing date for applications, or longer for certain posts, before short-listed candidates receive an invitation from ESBI to attend interview. However we will do our best to keep the recruitment process moving and to keep candidates informed of the progress of their applications.
- I require a work permit to work in Ireland. How do I go about applying for one?

If we make you an employment offer, we'll help you obtain an employment permit. ESBI is an international company and it's in our interests to have a range of people from different cultures and backgrounds. The Irish Government Department that is responsible for the processing of employment permits is the Department of Enterprise & Trade. - What is the holiday entitlement?

At least 21 days per year, with an additional 9 statutory holidays. Your holiday entitlement increases with the number of years you are in the company up to a maximum of 25 days per year. In addition to the above allocation, ESBI staff are also eligible for 2 extra discretionary days leave during the year.

- Is there any qualification support in place?

ESBI is very keen on professional development and many of our employees are supported through higher education and further education. That support can take the form of financial assistance and/or study and exam leave. However the support is dependent on how your studies will benefit both you professionally and your work in ESBI.

- Does ESBI pay for Membership of a Professional Institution?

ESBI recognises that the attainment and maintenance of professional status benefits both the business and the individual. ESBI will refund one annual subscription paid to a recognised chartered or other professional institution awarding relevant qualifications.
- What dress code is expected?

Employees maintain a standard of dress which appropriately recognises the professional nature of our business. Clients and other important visitors regularly come into our offices. Staff should project an image of the Company which will enhance our reputation. You are expected to apply good judgement in this regard.
- Do you provide Training & Development?

- Is it all work & no play?

There is a lively Sports and Social scene in ESBI with great opportunities for social events both on a casual and organised basis. Organised events are arranged throughout the year to encourage people to get to know each other outside the work environment. These include a summer barbeque and Christmas party. Other initiatives include: yoga classes, tag rugby, soccer, golf outings, pitch 'n' putt and many more.
