ESBI is headquartered in Dublin and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the
Electricity Supply Board (ESB), which is Ireland's national power utility.
ESBI is an international engineering, contracting and consulting organisation operating in the fields of power and structural engineering, IPP development, plant and system operation and maintenance, facility and utility management, power system contracting and environmental engineering. In each of these disciplines, ESBI undertakes projects from conception to completion, backed by a range of relevant support services. We operate primarily in the energy and power sector and also in transport, telecommunications, industry and commerce.
ESBI draws on a multi-disciplined resource of over 1,100 people, covering a broad spectrum of engineering, technical, architectural, financial and other professional resources. More than two-thirds of our team have professional qualifications from universities or technical colleges in engineering, architecture, finance, management and information technology.
