At ESBI we aim to provide the challenges and training opportunities you need to achieve your full career potential.

All our engineers follow the same initial path to Professional Engineer Level before either choosing a specialism or continuing in a project management/business role. A typical career path is detailed below:

Typical Graduate Engineer Career Path

  • Automatic attendance on the Graduate Entry Level Training Programme - to transition engineering graduates into the power business.
  • Quickly gain real responsibility and decision-making responsibility.
  • Work as part of team on a wide array of challenging projects.
  • Possibility of travelling overseas in second year.
  • After 2.5 years progress to Professional Engineer status on successful presentation and interview to Senior Project Manager.

After that it's up to you. You might wish to follow a technical route towards a particular specialism or follow a more general route in a project management/business role.
