What is your educational background?

I have a Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management.

What attracted you to ESBI?

ESBI has an exceptional track record in training for Graduate Engineers, it was an obvious choice as an undergraduate to apply for a position here.

How has your career developed since joining ESBI?

Career development is given particular emphasis in ESBI, the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) of all engineers is facilitated by regular training programmes and courses which are beneficial and relevant to your personal field.

What have been the highlights of your time in ESBI so far?

In addition to career development, ESBI is a fun energetic place to work, there is no shortage of sporting activities, competitions and social evenings to partake in throughout the year.

Are there any further qualifications you have obtained since joining ESBI?

I received my Diploma in Project Management last year from Trinity College Dublin; the course had been recommended and funded by ESBI.

What is the most rewarding thing about working with ESBI?

The wide variation of projects means the daily work schedule of an Engineer in ESBI is diverse and challenging, we have exposure to a wide range of engineering, design and project management challenges.

What distinguishes ESBI for you?

The most significant aspect of working with ESBI, is that it is a congenial, team-oriented culture, which encourages career progression and rewards success. There is an active mentoring program, on-the-job training, and support for continuing education.

Can you give us a feel for the culture in ESBI?

Due to the high percentage of young staff in ESBI there is very much a vibrant and innovative work culture, with a strong emphasis on modern work practices. Employees are encouraged to pursue their own particular areas of interest and exhibit their talents, expertise, and experience within their projects.
