Engineers Ireland CPD Accredited Employer.ESBI attains Engineer's Ireland Continuing Professional Development Accredited Employer status

ESBI has now been awarded Engineers Ireland "CPD Accredited employer" status for a further 3 years: the maximum possible duration.

ESBI received the accreditation in recognition of the quality of, and commitment to, its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) systems and practices for engineering staff.

Compliments received from Engineers Ireland include: "Engineers Ireland would like to especially acknowledge how impressively far ESB International has evolved over its 30 years in operation. Engineers Ireland values highly the CPD partnership experienced with ESBI through a formative part of this transformation. Nine years on, CPD fundamentals are fully embedded.

Despite a fiercely competitive market (both on a national and international level), restrictive regulation, and internal restructuring, ESBI have not only maintained - but further enhanced - its strong commitment to their ongoing CPD Programme. They continued to develop existing CPD development initiatives and processes (e.g., Performance Management, Mentoring and Coaching, Professional memberships, Post-Grad studies, etc.), and ESB International have also introduced positive new development mechanisms (e.g., the Competency Framework and Graduate Development Programme).

Beyond that again, ESBI are making significant contributions to ground-breaking and innovative best practices in Talent Management & CPD in support of their strategic imperatives - The Project Delivery model and Future Resource Planning.
