Corby Power
ESBI developed and is owner/operator of the 350MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Corby Power plant, one of the first Independent Power Projects (IPP) in the United Kingdom. Since commercial operations commenced in 1992, the Corby plant has consistently achieved high efficiency and availability levels.
Coolkeeragh ESB
Building on successes in the UK power industry, ESBI developed the 400MW Coolkeeragh CCGT facility in Derry, Northern Ireland. The plant has been operational since 2005 and, again, consistently achieves high efficiency and availability rates.
Marchwood Power
The new 842MW CCGT Marchwood plant near Southampton, which has been operational since 2009, was developed by ESB International. Scottish & Southern Energy (SSE) has been a partner in the project since 2006. The plant uses the most advanced, environmentally-friendly technology, and, with direct water cooling, is one of the most efficient plants in England. Find out more >> www.marchwoodpower.com
Carrington Power

Bizkaia Energia
ESBI developed the first internationally-owned power plant in Spain, and Osaka Gas of Japan became partners in 2004. The 755MW plant at Amorebieta has the capacity to supply 30% of the energy needs of the Basque Region. Gas for the project is supplied by Shell Espana under a tolling agreement and ESBI manages the operation and maintenance of the power station for the initial twenty-year period.
