Amorebieta, 755MW CCGT - Spain
Profile: The first internationally owned power plant to be developed in Spain, jointly owned by ESBI and Osaka Gas of Japan and financed and supported by a consortium of international financial institutions, the plant at Amorebieta has the capacity to supply 30% of the energy needs of the Basque Region. The gas supply to the project is supplied by Shell Espana under a tolling agreement.
Commercial Operation Date: Early Autumn 2005.
Technology: The 755MW plant is based on two GE 9FA gas turbines in a 2-2-1 configuration and it uses an air-cooled condenser.
Operations & Maintenance: ESBI O&M Solutions manages the operation and maintenance of the power station for the initial twenty-year period.

Coolkeeragh 400MW CCGT - Northern Ireland
Profile: ESBI was responsible for developing and financing the project and currently operates under a long term O&M contract. ESBI also provided strategic development services including techno-economic modelling, system operation and cross-border electricity trading analysis during the development phase. The electricity generated by the station is sold by ESB Independent Energy to retail customers in Ireland, north and south.
Commercial Operation Date: June 2005.
Technology: The 400MW plant uses GE 9FA gas turbines and dry low-NOx combustion for higher efficiency and reduced emissions.
Operations & Maintenance: ESBI O&M Solutions operates and maintains the combined-cycle gas turbine plant at Coolkeeragh, the first in the Northern Ireland competitive market, in line with best international practice for power generation stations.

Corby 350MW CCGT - United Kingdom
Profile: Corby 350MW CCGT power plant was one of the first independent power plants (IPPs) to be constructed in the deregulated UK market.
Commercial Operation Date: February 1994.
Technology: The power plant consists of 22GE 9E gas turbines in combined cycle, each with an ISO rating of 119MW and an additional single turbine rating of 114MW. This additional turbine is driven by steam, generated by two heat recovery boilers.
Operations & Maintenance: ESBI O&M Solutions has acted as operation and maintenance contractor since its inception. ESBI was also responsible for installation of a computerised maintenance management system and engineering design reviews.
